Darius Marquis Kendrick (born March 4, 1999) is an American musician, producer, and artist from Houston, Texas — a city whose rhythm and soul pulse through his music. Known professionally as Darius Marquis, he performs across genres including R&B/Soul, Gospel, Hip-Hop, Retro-Pop, and Rock, blending timeless emotion with modern innovation.

At the age of seven, Darius began playing drums in his uncle’s church. A year later, he was gifted a keyboard — and without lessons, he taught himself to play piano by ear. After years in middle school band, he deepened his craft by studying music theory, mastering his primary instrument, the piano, while also conquering drums, organ, bass, lead guitar, and percussion.

By the age of thirteen, he had already become a Minister of Music, leading worship and musicians with maturity far beyond his years. His musical journey has since taken him across studios and stages alongside some of Houston’s finest, including DJ Donnie Houston, as well as gospel legends like Karen Clark-Sheard, Vickie Yohe, Kathy Burrell, Bishop Joseph Walker III, and countless others.

As the founder of DMK Empire LLC, Darius has transformed his artistry into an ever-expanding creative universe — including:
